Delete your account and data
This page explains how to have your Klennord account and data deleted. There are two ways: from inside the app, or by e-mail.
Delete from the app
- Open Klennord and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap the Settings icon.
- Tap “Delete my account” at the bottom of Settings.
- Confirm with “Delete my account” in the question that opens. This cannot be undone.
If you cannot get into the app
Write to hello@kelddigital.com from the e-mail address registered with Klennord and ask for your account to be deleted.
Your request is answered within 30 days at the latest.
Download a copy of your data first
“A copy of my data” in Settings downloads your account, collections, posts, comments, value and subscription records and the conversations you are in as one file. The file goes only to you; we do not keep it.
What is deleted
- Your sessions close right after your request.
- Your collections, pieces, photos, posts, comments, reactions, follows, blocks, notifications, and purchase and value records are deleted shortly afterwards.
- The content of the messages you wrote is deleted.
- The files of photos you removed are deleted from storage within about a week.
What stays
- The conversation itself stays in the other person’s account, with what they wrote.
- Interest and tag names that entered the suggestion pool stay as names. The record that you wrote them is deleted.
- The record of reports made about you and of moderation decisions stays, without your identity. Copies of messages sent with a report are deleted 180 days after the review closes.
- We keep server access and error logs for 30 days for security, and database logs for 7 days. Daily database backups are deleted after 7 days.
- If the law obliges us to keep a record, we keep only that record, for as long as required.
If you have a subscription
Deleting your account does not end a subscription in the store. Cancel it first in your App Store or Google Play settings.
